Erbil succeeds in producing Covid-19 drug

Shafaq News / The Governor of Erbil, Firsat Sofi, announced today, Tuesday, that the pharmaceutical company Awamedica succeeded in producing Favipiravir, which is a drug used to treat Covid-19 patients in several countries.
In statement issued by the office of the governor, the latter commended the efforts of the company, as producing the drug is a huge achievement for Erbil.
Favipiravir is a Japanese Covid-19 drug. It was developed in Russia under government supervision, according to official statements.
