Erbil confirms 5 new infections with Covid-19

Shafaq News / 5 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Erbil governorate, The Ministry of Health of Kurdistan Region announced on Thursday.

5 people were diagnosed with corona virus as a continuation of testing for people suspected of being infected with the virus in Erbil governorate, the ministry said in a statement received by Shafaw News, today.

The statement added that the infected people are a 49-year-old man, a 23-year-old woman, and a 14-year-old girl from Swaran district, "Golan 26".

The fourth infected man is a 67-year-old from Samilan district, and the fifth is an 18-year-old young man from "Talar City" housing complex in "Kisanzan" district, a member of a family that was previously infected.

The statement indicated that all five of the infected were in contact with previous cases.
