Erbil announces the tests results of the woman family affected with Corona

Shafaq News / The governor of Erbil , Firsat Sofi announced on Saturday   launching a broad campaign to sanitize the markets and public places that witness a dense population presence, as part of preventive measures to prevent the outbreak of Corona virus, while stressing the need for the population to adhere to the health instructions issued, disclose the results of laboratory tests conducted for the family of the infected woman with Corona.

The Governor said in a joint press conference held with the President of the Provincial Council ,Ali Rashid today in coordination with the concerned departments, a broad campaign was launched today to sanitize the markets and public places to preserve the safety of citizens.

Concerning the woman who was confirmed to have Corona, he said that the woman is pregnant and her health condition is stable, pointing out that the affected family is subjected to laboratory tests and fortunately it was revealed that they do not carry the virus.

About closing popular markets, Sofi also said that the markets will not be closed now, and this depends on the extent of citizens' compliance with prevention instructions, suggesting the possibility of closing some areas in Erbil.
