Duhok announces receiving 12000 displaced from Kurdistan-Syria

Shafaq News/ The provincial government in Dohuk province announced on Tuesday that the displacement camps in the province are sheltering about 12000 displaced people who arrived from Kurdistan Syria as a result of the Turkish military operation.

The head of the local government, Farhad Atroushi said in a press conference today that the displacement camps in Dohuk governorate received 12 thousand displaced people from Kurdistan Syria, adding that "Bardarsh camp alone shelters 2500 displaced families.

Atrushi called on the United Nations and international organizations to provide assistance to the displaced as winter approaches.
