Demonstration takes place in front of Kurdistan Regional Council of Ministers

Shafaq News/ Dozens of teachers who work on contracts bases demonstrated on Monday in front of the building of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of Kurdistan Region in the capital Erbil, demanding to make their contracts permanent.

A representative of the protesting teachers at the demonstration read a statement in which they confirmed that they had been working on contracts bases for five years without being confirmed as permanent contracts in Ministry of Education in the region.

The representative of the teachers noted that they will continue to protest until Kurdistan government respond to their demands.
