Barzani: PKK presence in Kurdistan is a problem and they have to leave

Shafaq News / The President of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani stressed on Monday on the departure of PKK elements from the territory of the region.

Barzani said in a news conference, "If Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) wants to help Kurdistan region, they should leave, because their presence causes problems for the region we want to be a stable factor in the region."

"We want to confirm once again that Kurdistan Region is not a battleground for PKK, and it should not take the territory of the region as a springboard to attack other countries, so this matter must be dealt with."
