Areas in Kurdistan Region record a significant decrease in temperatures

Shafaq News / The Directorate of Weather Forecast and Seismic Monitoring in Kurdistan Region identified on Sunday a number of areas with the lowest rate of temperature drop.
According to a table issued by the Directorate, "Haji Omran" topped the list of the regions with the lowest temperatures, reaching -11 followed by "Kani Masi", - 9 and "Sidkan" ranked third with a rate of -5, while "Penjwin" came - 4.
It is noteworthy that a wave of rain and snow swept Kurdistan region during the past two days, especially the mountainous areas.
