An attempt to smuggle 8 kg of drugs from Kurdistan Region to Canada foiled

Shafaq News / Kurdistan Anti-Narcotics Directorate announced that it has foiled an attempt to smuggle 8 kg of drugs, as two suspects tried to smuggle this amount to Canada.

The directorate said in a statement that it seized 5 kg of the antidote and 3 kg of "ketamine" hidden inside spare parts for a bulldozer type wheel .

The statement added that the defendants were trying to transport these narcotic drugs to Canada, noting that the defendants were Iranians and had been arrested.
