America allocates 500 million dollars to rebuild the oldest temple of Yezidis in Kurdistan

Shafaq News/ US Ambassador to Iraq, Matthew Toller announced on Thursday his country's allocation of $ 500 million to rebuild Lalish temple of the Yazidis.
"I am pleased to announce that the United States has earmarked $ 500 million for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Lalish Temple," Toller said at a news conference after the temple's visit, saying that specialized teams from Pennsylvania will supervise the project.
He added that "America supports a number of heritage projects in Iraq, including the Museum of Antiquities in Baghdad and the citadel of Erbil, in addition to cooperation projects to rebuild destroyed archaeological sites in Mosul city."
