Turkish aircraft target areas north of Erbil

Shafaq News / Turkish aircraft launched airstrikes on areas north of Erbil, targeting the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) sites.
Witnesses told Shafaq News agency that the targeted areas are uninhabited.
Turkey says that its military operations aim to destroy the PKK sites and secure the Turkish borders with Iraq, to prevent the infiltration of the party's elements into the Turkish territory.
