Ramadan revives the raisin juice stores in Al-Sulaymaniyah

Many shops sell this kind of juice in the governorate, and the month of Ramadan is a great boost for their business.

The raisin juice is made from dried grapes, soaked and squeezed in special bags made of natural fibers.

"Sirklo" is one of the most famous raisin juice stores in al-Sulaymaniyah. The name denotes a region of the Dokan district famous for growing grapes.

The owner of the store, Siddiq Muhammad, told Shafaq News agency, "al-Sulaymaniyah is famous for raisin juice, which is a natural product that has been made in this shop for 40 years."

"Fasting people buy it in the month of Ramadan as a tradition, because it is a refreshing juice and has many benefits for the body, enhances energy and reduces harmful cholesterol and high blood pressure", he added.

Muhammad pointed out, "the Prices are affordable. the bag is for 1000 dinars, and it is sufficient for four people."
