Kurdistan authorities resume movements with Iraqi governorates

Shafaq News / The Supreme Committee to combat COVID-19 in the Kurdistan Region announced opening borders with the Iraqi governorates, following a preventive closure that lasted for more than a month.

The committee said in a statement that the decision will be implemented today, Sunday.

The authorities in the region decided a month ago to ban visiting Iraqi governorates to limit the spread of COVID-19.
