Erbil's governor lambasts the UAV attack on the Region's capital

Shafaq News/ The Governor of Erbil pilloried the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) attacks waged against the capital of the Region, assuring the citizens that security and stability are maintained by the security forces.
In a statement issued earlier today, Saturday, Governor Omed Khoshnaw said an attack by three UAVs took place this morning in the Gardens area in Erbil, two of which exploded, without causing any casualties.
"Aside from condemning this attack, we assure our people that thanks to the efforts of security forces, Asayish, and the police, the city is protected," he added, "those terrorist and subversive deeds will not tamper with the safety, security, stability of our city."
Earlier on Saturday, two UAVs stroke the residence of a citizen in the outskirts of a village in Erbil without causing casualties.
Religious slogans usually used by Iraqi Shiite armed factions were written on the UAVs.
