Earthquakes in Kifri and Khanaqin
Shafaq News / The Iraqi Meteorological Organization and Seismology reported two earthquakes in borders of Kifri and Khanaqin districts, adding that Kermanshah, Iran is the epicenter of them.
In statement received by Shafaq news agency, the organization said that “The first earthquake was 3.7 degree of magnitude, at 10 km depth, and it took place, at 11:37 a.m., 30 km away from Khanaqin and 39 km from Kifri. While, the second one was 2.9 degree of magnitude, at 10 km depth, and it took place 32 km away from Khanaqin and 36 from Kifri”, pointing out that the citizens felt the shake without resulting any damages.
