Shafaq News/ COVID-19 new variants popped up in Kurdistan, a source in the region's Ministry of Health revealed today, Sunday.
The source told Shafaq News Agency that five patients tested positive for the new strain of the virus causing COVID-19 in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
The source added that the Ministry shall release an official statement later today.
