COVID-19: 667 new cases and 13 fatalities in Kurdistan today
Shafaq News / The Ministry of Health in Kurdistan Region registered, on Friday, 667 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in a statement received by Shafaq News agency, that the new cases were distributed as follows: 411 Erbil, 61 Al-Sulaymaniyah, 21 Garmyan, 77 Raperin, 83 Duhok, and 14 Halabja.
The Ministry recorded 207 recoveries in Iraq, distributed as follows: 122 Erbil, 29 Garmyan, 43 Duhok, 13 Halabja.
While 13 mortality cases were distributed as follows: 7 Erbil, 6 Al-Sulaymaniyah.
The total number of positive cases rose to 20002, 11028 of them achieved full recovery, while 8262 patients are still receiving the necessary medical treatment. The deaths toll stood at 712, since the outbreak of the virus last March.
