COVID-19: 537 new cases and 21 fatalities in Kurdistan today

Shafaq News / The Ministry of Health in Kurdistan Region registered, on Sunday, 537 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

The ministry said in a statement received by Shafaq News agency, that the newly diagnosed cases were distributed as follows: 297 Erbil, 51 Al-Sulaymaniyah, 26 Garmyan, 134 Duhok, 29 Halabja.

The statement indicated that the cases of recovery amounted to 289 cases, distributed as follows: 114 Erbil, 24 Garmyan, 135 Duhok, and 16 Halabja.

And 21 mortality cases were registered, as follows: 12 Erbil, 3 Al-Sulaymaniyah, 2 Garmyan, 2 Raperin.

The total number of confirmed cases registered since the beginning of the outbreak reached 21197, with 8948 inpatients, while the total number of recoveries became 11496. The death toll is 753.
