The Ministry of Interior identifies two reasons behind Nasiriyah gas plant fire

Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Interior identified two reasons behind Sunday's fire incident in Nasiriyah gas plant in Dhi -Qar province.

The ministry’s spokesman , Saad Maan said in a statement received by Shafaq News that "a fire broke out in one of the tanks in al- Nasiriyah gas plant in Dhi -Qar province, because of a technical defect and the high temperatures during the process of discharge."

"The fire was brought under control by the civil defense teams, where three people were injured , one of them was seriously burned as initial information about the accident mentioned ," he said.
