Shafaq News / The Supreme Judicial Council expressed on Monday its objection to the presence of judges in the Electoral Commission, as the Supreme Judicial Council was an independent body.

The council also decided that the appellate areas be divided into two groups, and a draw would be held to select five candidates from the judges into two groups.

According to a statement issued by the Council, the Supreme Judicial Council in Kurdistan Region has been approached to send candidates who meet the conditions stipulated in the law representing the provinces of the region.
