Sweden nominates Faili Kurdish woman for three positions

The candidate , Mayson Hassan Murad said in an interview received by " Shafaq News " , that “she was nominated by the Social Democratic Party in the Swedish , Orebro in lists of parliament, municipal councils and provincial councils in the next election in 2014 in Sweden .

Mayson Murad is a Faili Kurdish woman left Baghdad 5 years ago and was granted Swedish citizenship, to join the Social Democratic Party .

Murad comment on that, “here I knew the true meaning of citizenship and human rights."

This comes at a time, the new session of the Parliament of Kurdistan has lacked any representative of Faili Kurds as the Iraqi parliament failed to grant this component a share of quotas that were agreed upon.

Faili Kurds was represented in the last session of the Parliament of Kurdistan by ,Ali Hussein al-Faili .

A lot of Faili Kurds live in Sweden, shortly after deportation campaigns had been waged by the former regime .
