Supreme Council: Baghdad wasn’t serious in offering solutions before passing the budget

and their withdrawal will affect the situation in Iraq and will create more crisis between Baghdad and Erbil .

The Iraqi Council of Ministers passed the general budget law yesterday for the current year 2014, despite the refusal by the Vice President of the Council , Roze Nuri Shaways and Kurdish Ministers.

The leader in the Supreme Council , Ali Shubar told “Shafaq News " , that " We must pass the budget in the light of the close period of ending the current parliamentary session , but it was better to reach solutions and to seek integrated dialogue between the presidency of the region and Baghdad to find a formula to pass the budget in a way that would satisfy all parties " .

"The government was not serious in the presentation of the solutions before presenting the budget to the parliament."

Shubar noted that "the Kurds make up a large segment of the Iraqi people and what the cabinet has made will affect the overall situation of Iraq and will lead to create more crisis between Baghdad and Erbil ."

It has been scheduled to prime minister of Kurdistan region , Nechirvan Barzani to held talks in Baghdad with Iraqi Prime Minister , however, after the final vote on the budget , it is believed that he would cancel the visit.
