Special parliamentary session on Anbar to be held on Wednesday
Hundreds of thousands of residents have been displaced from Ramadi city, the center of Anbar province as well as Fallujah and other areas of the province ; due to fighting between the government forces backed by tribal groups and armed tribal groups.
Jumaily said during a press conference held in parliament attended by " Shafaq News " , that " an agreement took place with Parliament Speaker , Osama al-Nujaifi during a meeting of political blocs’ leaders to hold a special session to discuss Anbar subject on Wednesday in the presence of Minister of Immigration , Health and Trade ."
" We will have to appeal the international community in the absence of government's commitment to its responsibilities towards the displaced people to Kurdistan and other provinces “.
The country has witnessed a security deterioration after removing the protesters’ camps in Anbar province since more than two months and the arrest of a prominent Sunni MP , which allowed an opportunity for the armed opponents of the government to tighten their control like Islamist militants pm large parts of the province , including populated areas .
The government forces backed by military aviation prompted to hunt down militants , where battles raged intermittently for more than two months in Anbar province.
