Shaways heads government and economic delegation to Iran

A statement from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister stated to “Shafaq News " that “ the delegation members includes the Deputy Minister of Finance , Safah al-Deen al-Safi , the President of the National Investment Commission , Sami al-Araji , the head of the neighboring countries’ department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Walid Shelatgh and a number of advisors and directors-general in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Ministries of Finance, Planning , the Central Bank of Iraqi and the National Investment Commission .

He added that the delegation will hold talks during his visit to strengthen cooperation economic and trade frameworks , in particular the promotion and protection of investment , avoidance of double taxation and a memorandum of understanding in the field of customs , standardization , quality control and other files of common interest .

He said that visit agenda also includes a visit to meet a number of senior government officials in the Islamic Republic of Iran .
