Shafaq News publishes statistics and causes of agricultural crop fires in Iraq

Shafaq News / Shafaq News has obtained the most recent statistics of agricultural crop fires in Baghdad and the governorates for the period from 4/22/2020 to 5/13/2020.
The burning area in general in Iraq reached 1337 donum, while 13,511 donum were saved, Diyala Governorate took the lead where the number of burned donums reached 442 .
The causes of agricultural crop fires were numerous between electrical contact and terrorist acts, in addition to arson, as no human losses were recorded as a result of those fires.
