Saudi Arabia discusses detainee’s conditions in Iraq

Dozens of Saudi detainees are in Iraqi prisons because of entering Iraq informally as some of them have received death sentences after it has been proven of their involvement in terrorist acts.

According to a news report briefed by “Shafaq News " “the Saudi ambassador to Jordan, Sami bin Abdullah Saleh met at the headquarters of the Iraqi embassy in Amman, the Iraqi ambassador to Jordan , Jawad Hadi Abbas and discussed with him the situation of Saudi prisoners in Iraq, especially those who didn’t receive sentences so far as well as the humanity situation of these prisoners .

The Iraqi Ministry of Justice announced earlier , issuing a special pardon to 24 Saudi prisoners in prisons in Iraq , who were not sentenced to death and are not demanding for special rights .
