A senior military commander in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard revealed that the General Command of these forces announced general alert and mobilizing their ranks because of serious security developments taking place in Iraq after the fall of Mosul, Iraq's second city after Baghdad by gunmen of Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant organization "Daash”.

Sadr said in a statement seen by "Shafaq News", Here are the Foreign groups that have begun to occupy some areas of the beloved Iraq, which is now a captive in their hands ... they have terrorized everyone by their car bombs  , terrorizing civilians amid the surprise and silence of the government. The government has missed every opportunity to prove its care  ,  we see Iraq bleed more than ever before. "

Al-Sadr added "in terms of keeping the unity of Iraq, I do not intend to push the sons of Iraq in a war made by some deviant policies, still I cannot stand still in front of the anticipated danger to our holy places, so I will with the faithful people are ready to coordinate with some government agencies to form (Peace –al-Salam Brigades) to defend the holy sites on the condition of not joining them only temporarily in the security official line by our centrality not by spontaneous enrollment that would cause a lot of problems. "

The Leader of the Sadrist movement, who announced his retirement from politics added , "I'm not ready before God or in front of my beloved people to go into dirty battle gangs and militias that do not distinguish between terrorist and someone who wants salvation."

Mosul has fell on Tuesday under the control of hundreds of militants within hours despite the presence of thousands of military personnel in a repeated scenario as done previously in Ramadi , Fallujah , Hawija and Sulaiman Bek.

The religious Marjiyaa in Najaf has called political leaders to unite and strengthen its presence to stand against the "terrorists."

 

The office of the religious Marjaa, Ali al-Sistani said in a statement that the religious  Marjiyaa confirms its support for the attribution of its sons in the armed forces and urging them to patience and fortitude in facing the aggressors.
