Parliament delays its session until agreement on the budget
A parliamentary source told “Shafaq News " that “the Presidency of the Parliament required to held the session again by the agreement of the blocs on a final version of the fiscal budget bill for 2014.
The Parliament finds it very difficult to achieve a quorum for the number of members present in recent months to hold its sessions as a result of the presence of deep divisions between the political blocs on the files that are being discussed in the Parliament .
Mutahedoun coalition under the leadership of Parliament Speaker , Osama al-Nujaifi boycott the sessions in protest against the military operations in Anbar and are demanding the province to discuss the situation in parliament in the presence of Prime Minister ,Nuri al-Maliki .
While Kurds boycott the parliament sessions until inserting the budget items in protest against some items in which they say include sanctions against Kurdistan Region on export of oil .
