Nujaifi: Mosul and a second airport fall and calls for Peshmerga’s help

“These groups are heading to Salahuddin, where Sharqat airport and a helicopter have been seized and prisoners have been freed so there must be a cooperation and use the help of peshmerga and international support,” Nujaifi said at a conference attended by "Shafaq News”.

" Daash will reach all of Iraq if we don’t cooperate and stop it."

He explained that he contacted with the political and security leaders, and he is as ready to meet with Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki to curb what he described as this danger.

Nujaifii was asked about his brother , Athel, and said "that “ the governor is inside the province and is trying to gather the scattered forces to form a fighting line."
