Nujaifi discusses next elections in Kuwait

, the legislative elections scheduled to take place next April , and the developments of the security situation in Iraq .

Nujaifi arrived and the delegation accompanying him to the Parliament of Kuwait on Saturday morning to participate in the 13th session of the Executive Committee , and the Twentieth Congress of the Arab Parliamentary Union .

According to a statement issued by the Office of Nujaifi received by “Shafaq News” at Al-Ghanim’s residence in Kuwait, “ the two sides discussed issues of common interest , and ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, especially at the parliamentary level”.

The statement added that they dealt with the elections issue in Iraq and the developments of the security and political scenes in the region in general and in Iraq in particular.

Nujaifi called last Wednesday for a comprehensive review of the last ten years files of the political process in the country and warned of a "conspiracy " to take the Islamic religion as a way to spread " terror" in the region and the world.
