Nujaifi calls Barzani to open the regions’ borders in front of displaced people of Anbar

Nujaifi’s statement received by “Shafaq News “ mentioned that “ the Parliament Speaker discussed on Wednesday , via a telephone conversation with President of Kurdistan Region Massoud Barzani , the repercussions of Anbar crisis and armed operations in addition to the status of refugees of the people of the province”.

The statement noted that al-Nujaifi called on institutions and all concerned human rights organizations to provide humanitarian aid to the besieged people of the province , according to his description .

Combat troops backed by air support have launched since days , large-scale of military operation in the desert areas of Anbar, an extension of the borders of Syria and Jordan against the strongholds of al-Qaeda after killing a number of military commanders, which led to the displacement of hundreds of families from the province towards the neighboring provinces and Kurdistan region .
