New details on al-Baghdadi's death revealed

Shafaq News/After several U.S. sources confirmed on Sunday killing ISIS leader ,Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, Iraqi state television broadcast footage said was the U.S. raid in Syria that killed al-Baghdadi.

In detail, day-to-day footage from Al-Iraqiya TV showed a hole in the ground that appeared to have been caused by a raid, as well as torn and bloodied clothes.

The Iraqi state television, citing an expert on terrorist groups, said Iraqi intelligence had helped locate al-Baghdadi.

Al- Iraqiya News Agency announced that an intelligence source confirmed the killing of the leader of the organization.

The agency confirmed that a security source announced the death of Ghazwan al-Rawi, the security official for ISIS leader in the same operation.

Turkey, in turn, announced that it had coordinated with Washington on the same operation, but the Newsweek newspaper said that America did not inform Turkey of targeting al-Baghdadi process.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights quoted credible sources as saying that intelligence was available to the CIA and "self-administration" intelligence in northern and northeastern Syria about the presence of ISIS first-class commanders in Barisha area, but the operation was delayed despite intelligence information because of the start of the Turkish military operation east of the Euphrates.

The sources also pointed out that the U.S. aircraft came from inside Turkish territory, and Arab intelligence participated in the operation.

In the same context, an activist from Idlib told Al-Arabiya TV, that helicopters pulled bodies from the site of the operation and took two people alive.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights noted that ISIS still maintains cells in various Syrian areas, noting that killing al-Baghdadi was a highly successful intelligence operation, involving the landing of soldiers by helicopter. It said that the raids targeted al-Baghdadi's hideout in Syria for about an hour and a half.

The Observatory also noted that U.S. helicopters dropped fighters on the ground after midnight, clashing with extremist fighters in Barisha village in Idlib, northwestern Syria on the border with Turkey, noting that it could not be ruled out that some U.S. official statements were to mislead al-Baghdadi.

Explosive vest while sleep

In turn, U.S. media quoted intelligence as saying that al-Baghdadi had long slept with an explosive vest.

A senior U.S. military official hinted that la-Baghdadi believed to blew himself up before his arrest. CNN information added that DNA and biometric tests were underway.

NBC reported that the United States destroyed the building where al-Baghdadi was in near Barisha in Idlib before carrying out an operation to collect evidence from the site. There was also an air strike on a motorcade near the scene.

U.S. officials quoted on Sunday informed sources at the Pentagon and the U.S. military that al-Baghdadi's wives blew themselves up during an attack by U.S. Special Forces in rural Idlib.

Earlier on Sunday, CNN and ABC American networks announced that the head of the group, which has terrorized thousands in Syria and Iraq for years before he receded, was probably killed after a U.S. raid in Idlib.

CNN reported that the U.S. army was conducting DNA tests before it could officially confirm Baghdadi's death.

Al-Baghdadi’s family to Turkey

According to information about the operation that revealed the site of al-Baghdadi, according to "CNN" network U.S. intelligence contributed to the detection of the location of the head of the terrorist organization in the countryside of Idlib, while informed sources told Reuters that the hideout of al-Baghdadi was revealed while trying to smuggle his family towards the border with Turkey.

"Our private sources from inside Syria have confirmed to the Iraqi intelligence team in charge of chasing al-Baghdadi ,his death with his bodyguard, who never leaves him in Idlib after discovering his hiding place as he tried to drive his family out of Idlib towards the Turkish border," one source said.

A second Iraqi security source also received assurances from sources inside Syria that Baghdadi was killed.

"Valuable goal"

It is noted that the Pentagon informed the White House that it was confident that the "valuable target" who was killed is al- Baghdadi, but indicated that those involved were conducting further investigations to confirm.

In turn, Fox News reported on Sunday that the United States is conducting tests on samples of the body of the dead man believed to be Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi
