National Alliance holds a meeting in the presence of al-Maliki

“The political body of the Iraqi National Alliance met all its components , in the presence of Prime Minister ,Nuri al-Maliki in the office of President of the Alliance , Ibrahim al-Jaafari ,” According to a statement issued by the National Alliance received by "Shafaq News”.

The statement quoted al-Jaafari as saying after the meeting that " the National Alliance focused on the need to ensure a good and integrated atmosphere between the executive and legislative branches to solve problems that occurred in the past , which caused some delay in achievement”.

Jaafari said that "we listened to the security report from the Prime Minister about the latest developments in the security situation , we talked about the budget , and the importance of expediting the approval , especially that the election chapter still exists, although it will complete soon, adding that " it was emphasized on the need to address the parliament to decide on this matter. The Iraqi Parliament couldn’t till now after with the end of its period from approving the federal budget for 2014 due to disagreements among the political blocs on the terms and clauses contained in the law .
