Najaf free of Corona after last patient recovers

Shafaq News / Najaf Governorate announced that it is free of Corona virus after the recovery of last corona-infected patient.

"Najaf is free of any infection with Corona virus after the recovery of the last two cases and leaving Al-Hakim Hospital,” The head of the crisis cell, Louay Al-Yasiri, said in a brief statement, reported to Shafaq News Agency.

For its part, the Health Department of Najaf announced that 27 arrivals had left quarantine after the end of the quarantine period and after taking tests samples and ensuring their safety.

"23 arrivals distributed as 2 from Jordan, 4 from Egypt, 8 from Russia and 9 from Syria, with 4 contacts with previous medical conditions left quarantine places without symptoms,” The Director General of the Health Department, Radwan Kamel Al-Kindi said.

He added that “the total remaining number will be 117 quarantined, including 72 contacts and 45 arrivals."
