Military operation launched against ISIS southwest of Mosul

Shafaq News / A massive military operation was launched on Monday, to the southwest of the city of Mosul, to confiscate ISIS elements who had recently been active in some areas in the governorate of Nineveh Governorate.
The operation includes Brigade 44, Brigade 25 in the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) , Brigade 21 and 43 in the Iraqi Army, the Thunder Regiment, Al-Hadr PMF, Field Engineering, and Military Engineering for PMF.
A military official told Shafaq News, that the aim of the operation that was launched at dawn today is Jazerra Al-Hadr and its surrounding areas and following ISIS remnants.
