refusing the rejection of any political party on those decisions.

The cabinet approved during its regular session to convert Tal Afar and Tuz Khurmato districts to two provinces aid Turkmen welcome and Kurdish objection.

It also agreed in principle to convert Nineveh Plain and Fallujah to two provinces.

Maliki said in his weekly televised speech , briefed by “Shafaq News", that "The issue of forming new provinces is legal and constitutional," pointing out that "no one has no right to reject it."

He explained that "there are some districts that need to be provinces and we do not reject its formation, but according to legal and constitutional contexts this will benefit the people of these areas in order to preserve the unity of Iraq."

The Cabinet has approved previously by majority at the request of Kurdistan Regional Government to make Halabja district as a fourth province in Kurdistan Region.
