Maliki agrees to grant pension rights for 1870 officers of the former army

The commander of the Second Infantry Division in the Army , Ali al-Furaiji said in a statement for " Shafaq News " , that " the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces has approved on the issuance of the fifth group of former army officers from Nineveh province, totaling 1870 officers”.

“ 126 officers have been assigned to retirement who have not been included in assignment decision in the last term , noting that there are other groups that will be issued soon to end this file,” he added.

A source in the Department of Veterans had announced earlier that the department has decided to promote all pension transactions for officers of brigadier-general and Colonel rank exclusively from those who were affiliated to the former army , referring to the work on promoting the transactions pensions to the national pension board that decides the pension salary according to the rank and service.
