Kurdistan Parliament starts session to name to Barzani as KRG President

A statement for the presidency of the parliament received by “Shafaq News" , noted that “ the first point in the work program of today's session was dedicated to named the prime minister and his deputy , stating that the reason for the delay was because Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) was late in determining the candidate for the post of deputy prime minister as a political bureau has named recently , Qobad Talabani , son of Iraqi President Jalal Talabani , to take over this post.

The statement added that the program of the meeting also includes the first reading of a number of bills , including social security bill for housewives , consolidated bill retirement in Iraq , anti-corruption draft law in Kurdistan , the draft law of the National negotiation Commission and the bill of citizens share of natural resources .

Kurdistan Democratic Party has nominated Vice President and current Chairman of the regional government for a new term after taking the results of the parliamentary elections in the province in 21 of last September as Change movement got the second place , which enabled it to take over the presidency of the parliament , while Patriotic Union of Kurdistan came in the third place .
