Kurdistan Parliament began session in the presence of Barzani

The Speaker of the Parliament, Mohammad Yousuf told “Shafaq News " that the meeting came at the initiative of the Prime Minister himself” .

He said that after the emergence of this crisis, which led to the government's inability to pay salaries and reconstruction projects stop , all segments of society started to be affected thus the Parliament opened this file through a series of committees that have concluded its work in two reports .

He added that the government has 15 days to respond to these reports , adding that the head of the caretaker government felt personally the need to attend on his own initiative to participate in the parliamentary session as the legitimate representative of the people and the best platform to talk about the crisis.

Barzani was accompanied by the Minister of Planning , Ali Sindi, Minister of Natural Resources , Ashti Hawrami , Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance , Rashid Tahir , foreign relations official, Falah Mustafa, and the Spokesman of KRG, Safeen Dazia.

The Prime Minister met with the Parliament Speaker before taking part in the meeting.
