Kurdistan declares four holidays in March

on the occasion of the National holidays in March , including Nowruz festival and Kurdish New Year .

KRG statement received by "Shafaq News" , said that days of ( 5, 11 , 14 20, 21 , 22, 23 ) of current month will public holidays in the region and announced the school holidays , which start from 11 up to 24th of current month .

Kurdistan Region celebrates every year starting from 5 March on the occasion of the outbreak of Kurdish uprising in 1991 in 11 March to mark the declaration statement of March 11 in 1970 and 14 on the occasion of the birth of the leader of the late Kurdish , Mullah Mustafa Barzani and 20 up to 23 on the occasion of Nowruz and the Kurdish New Year .
