Kurdish parties and forces in Diyala in one parliamentary list

“The Kurdish forces have agreed to contest parliamentary elections in one consolidated list to prevent dispersal of voted of the Kurds along the areas inhabited by the Kurds in Diyala ,” The leader in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in Khanaqin , Ibrahim Bajelan told “Shafaq News “.

Bajelan said that 8 Kurdish forces and parties will enter the parliamentary elections in Diyala in “peace of Kurdistan “list except Change movement that will not participate in the election of Diyala for the lack of representatives.

He added that the main forces that fall within peace of Kurdistan list are the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan , Kurdistan Democratic Party , the Communist Party of Kurdistan , Kurdistan Toilers Party , the Islamic Movement of Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Islamic Group in addition to other Kurdish forces .

Bajelan described the unifying of Kurdish forces as aimed at increasing the representation of Kurds of Diyala in the Parliament , likely the Kurds of Diyala would win 3 seats during the next election .

He revealed the Kurds agreement for Patriotic Union of Kurdistan to head the list of (peace of Kurdistan) while the spokesman for the list will be from Kurdistan Democratic Party and entrusted the task of decision –maker to the Islamic group.

Kurds in Dial has gained one seat during the previous parliamentary elections in 2010 , which is currently occupied by a leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and a member of the parliamentary Security and Defense Commission , Hassan Jihad Ameen .
