Kurdish Islamist group announces strategy for the independence of Kurdistan

According to the project, which was announced by Babeer during a press conference attended by " Shafaq News " , that “ this action plan has been prepared by intellectuals inside and outside the Islamic Group , adding that it would be a part of the educational, political and cultural curriculum.

He added that despite the difference of opinion on this issue , the Islamic group will work in order to remove political differences and put them aside to reach a national agreement on the project .

As stated in the project, the Islamist group called for the establishment of a national council for this purpose to work on the diplomatic , political and media aspects in international forums , calling to discuss this file in Kurdistan Parliament in legitimacy and legal terms.

The President of Kurdistan Region , Massoud Barzani said during a television interview that an Kurdish state independent is to come, pointing out that Kurdistan is moving towards a confederation with Iraq .

Relations between Kurdistan Region is witnessing highest degree of tension and differences in the last period due to the lack of agreement between Erbil and Baghdad on a number of outstanding issues repeated every year , including the problem of the Iraqi public budget , the export of oil from the region and Peshmarga and the application of Article 140 constitutional as well as political differences on how power management in Baghdad .
