Kremlin: The United States betrayed Syria's Kurds
Shafaq News/ The Kremlin said that if the Kurds did not withdraw from the areas agreed upon (in the agreement) in northern Syria, the Russian military police and Syrian border guards would be forced to withdraw, and they would face Turkish army strikes.
The spokesman for the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov said in a press statement on Wednesday that the United States abandoned the Kurds in northern Syria and betrayed them.
Among the most important items of the recent Russian-Turkish agreement will be the preservation of the status quo in the area of operation "spring of peace", which covers Tel Abyad and Ras al-Ain at a depth of 32 km.
