Judiciary determines 7th of next month to trial defendant of killing Bedaiwi

"The Central Criminal Court identified 7/4/2014 as a trial date for the man accused of killing journalist , Mohammed Bedaiwi al-Shammari ,” The spokesman of the judiciary , Abdul Sattar Bayrakdar said in a statement received by " Shafaq News “.

"The Central Investigating Court ended its investigation into the murder of journalist , Mohammed al- Bedaiwi ."

Bayraqdar added " it was decided to refer the accused to the Central Criminal Court in accordance with the provisions of Article 406 of the Iraqi Penal Code ."

Bedaiwi , a journalist and university professor who runs the Office of American Free Iraq Radio (al-Iraq al-Hurr) in Baghdad was killed on Saturday in unclear circumstances by a Kurdish officer in the presidential regiment in Jadriya fortified area in Baghdad.
