Jaafari warns of “problems “ahead of the elections

Jaafari said during a meeting at the central office of the National Reform Movement with a delegation of elders and notables of Baghdad that “election seasons are an opportunity to change and raise the level of ambition by replacing characters that failed in the service of the citizen   and bring efficient figures that would improve the reality of country.”

He pointed to " the need for awareness of the past experience , the awareness of the country's wealth and the awareness of the electoral programs , as well as awareness of the candidate who can apply his electoral program in order not to repeat the mistakes , and employ the resources enjoyed by Iraq for the benefit of its people ."

The elections are heading towards extremely difficult conditions in Iraq, where sectarian and political divisions are taking place as well as the ongoing military operations in Anbar since the beginning of this year .
