Iraq's Christians prepare to transfer “province project “to America

A statement issued by the Assyrian Democratic Movement , headed by MP Unadem Kanna reported for " Shafaq News " , that " a meeting was held by political parties and Christian movements and discussed the preparation and arrangement for Nineveh plain province to be supported by political parties and Christian movements and submit it officially to the Council of Ministers in the Federal government. "

"The meeting stressed the need to develop a province first and that the idea of ​​any region through the population of the province as they will decide it”.

He explained that " a joint delegation of political organizations has been formed to visit the United States to hold meetings with representatives of political parties and Christians to discuss the development of Nineveh Plain province file."

The meeting which was held in Dohuk province included eight political parties , Chaldean ,Syriac and Assyrian that was attended by a number of Christian administrators in Nineveh province.

Representatives of the Christian political forces have called earlier to create a new province in Nineveh Plain , which is the home of Christians , Shabaks and Yazidis , as the call received support from Kurdistan Alliance in the Iraqi parliament , as by representatives of the Christian powers confirmed that their demand comes to ensure the survival of those components in Iraq .
