Iraq forms crisis cells led by military leadership in the provinces

Shafaq News/ The Joint Operations Command announced on Thursday that the highest military body in Iraq, the formation of crisis cells headed by the heads of local governments and the membership of military commanders in all provinces to maintain security in them.

The leadership mentioned in a statement today that " For the importance of controlling security and law enforcement in the provinces , protecting institutions and public and private interests , protecting citizens ; crisis cells has been formed headed by the governors and as directed by the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces."

The statement added that "it was decided to assign some military leaders to be members of the crisis cell to assume command and control of all security and military services in the province and to help the governors   in the performance of their tasks."
