Iraq evacuates its nationals from India
Shafaq News / The Civil Aviation Authority announced on Saturday the evacuation of Iraqis who were on a medical trip in India.
The Director General of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority, Pilot Duraid Yahya Jasim stated today that, based on the approval of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi to grant special approval for the flight of Iraqi Airways to Delhi for the purpose of bringing Iraqis who were subjected to treatment and conducting operations for them in multiple areas.
He added that the plane will be launched from Baghdad International Airport to Delhi at 9 a.m. and return on the same day at exactly 9 p.m. , passing through Basra International Airport and then Baghdad International Airport, where all necessary medical supplies will be provided to those returning to the country.
It is noteworthy that the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority suspended flights in the country, from last Tuesday to next Tuesday, March 24, with the exception of medical evacuation and air cargo flights that continue normally, as well as planes crossing Iraqi airspace.
