Iraq announces details of anti-terrorism conference

The Ministry of Interior called the media and journalists on Tuesday to actively participate in the First International anti-terrorism conference in Baghdad to be held on 12 and 13 of this March under the title "Towards an international solidarity to combat terrorism."

The director of the intelligence service , Qassim Atta said at the Preparatory Conference attended by " Shafaq News " , that "Iraq is fighting a third world war against terrorism."

For his part, Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for the Conference , Watheq al- Hashemi said that, " the Preparatory Committee has sent an invitation to the regional countries , which witnessed the presence of terrorism as well as foreign countries to attend the conference “.

The Iraqi government announced earlier inviting countries and organizations to attend the international anti-terrorism conference “, noting that “the participants in the conference will represent the Arab and regional countries and members of the UN Security Council , as well as international organizations like the United Nations , the Arab League and the Islamic ActionOrganization .
