Iraq: 34 fatalities and more than 1000 new Covid-19 cases today

Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment registered, today, 34 fatalities and more than 1000 new Covid-19 cases in the past day; which is among the highest records since the beginning of of the outbreak in Iraq.
In a statement received by Shafaq News agency, the ministry said that 7835 tests were performed today, raising the total number of performed tests since the beginning of the outbreak in the country to 330526.

The newly diagnosed cases (1146) are distributed as follows:
Baghdad / Al-Rusafa: 219, Baghdad / Al-Karkh: 149, Medical City: 114, Najaf: 101, Basra: 62, Al-Sulaymaniyah: 113, Erbil: 60, Duhok: 2, Karbala: 24, Wasit: 37, Kirkuk: 17, Diyala: 14, Babel: 73, Maysan: 34, Dhi Qar: 99, Al-Muthanna: 7, Saladin: 11, Al-Anbar: 6, Nineveh: 4.

The statement indicated that the cases of recovery amounted to 383 cases, distributed as follows:
Baghdad / Al-Rusafa: 55, Baghdad / Al-Karkh: 116, Medical City: 18, Najaf: 12, Basra: 23, Erbil: 4, Karbala: 33, Kirkuk: 2, Wasit: 49, Dhi Qar: 50, Babel: 16, Maysan: 5.

While 34 mortality cases were registered, as follows:
Baghdad / Rusafa: 16, Baghdad / Al-Karkh: 7, Medical City: 3, Sulaymaniyah: 2, Karbala: 1, Diyala: 1, Wasit: 3, Muthanna: 1.

The total number of confirmed cases registered since the beginning of the outbreak reached 15414, while the total number of recoveries became 6214. The total number of Inpatients is 8774, including 88 patients admitted to ICU. The death toll is 426.
