Iran denies sending troops to Iraq to face "Daash"

Abdul Allahaan said in a statement seen by "Shafaq News", that “ there was no truth to the news of the entry of Iranian military forces to Iraq, noting that the Iraqi armed forces confronted the terrorists strongly”.

He expressed confidence that the Iraqi armed forces will kill the terrorists and extremist groups, stressing that his country supported Iraq in its response to terrorism.

The media has reported that Iran has deployed in Iraq three military units, some sources said that they are Brigades of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in several areas in Iraq.
